WEATHER
REPORT for
SATURDAY August
2nd, 2008:

GLOOMY, Lots of
Rain, Downpours
and Thunderstorms

THE MARKET
OPENS RAIN OR
SHINE!

This is so that
dealers who may be
meeting customers to
make deliveries or
pickups can complete
their transactions.
However, if the
weather becomes
inclement and the
dealers leave, we will
close early.

It was predicted on our
Opening Day that it
would rain all weekend.
I looked at the Sky on
Friday afternoon and
knew that it would
not
happen. I was right,
they were wrong.

I have lived in the
Mountains and on the
Ocean and have learned
how to read the
weather by standing in
the spot where I am
going to be for the
weekend and observing
the signs in the sky.

We have our own
micro-climate in the
Litchfield Hills that
generally escapes the
patterns of weather
from the west - most
of our weather comes
from the north and very
rarely from the south.

When you hear the
Weather reports for CT
you will be getting the
reports for the heavily
populated Coast, and
the weather there can
be entirely different
than in the Hills!
