IF YOU ARE SENDING A DOWNLOADED VERSION OF THIS APPLICATION PLEASE PRINT A COPY FOR
YOUR RECORDS.
DOGS and PETS of any type ARE NOT PERMITTED. We reserve the right to eliminate any item for sale or
display or to refuse entrance or to remove from the field any person or any merchandise or any display
which may be considered disruptive, illegal, or inappropriate.
Sales of explosives, firearms, ammunition, flammables, alcoholic beverages, large knives, drugs or drug
paraphernalia, obscene or pornographic items, or any illegal items are strictly prohibited. Management's
judgment will prevail in all instances. Police will be called if necessary.
NOTE: Tents larger than 100 Square Feet must be Inspected by the Town of Bethlehem Building
Department every event, there is a $20.00 fee for this inspection, this is a fee that must be paid at every
market. Copies of the application are on the website located at: www.BethlehemFleaMarket.com RULES:
No Auctioning, Loud Soliciting, or Barking at Any time. Music must not be heard outside your space.
Dealers must stay within the boundaries of their assigned spaces.
BOOTH SIZE AND RENT:
Single FIELD Booths, 20' wide x 25' deep $35.00. Drive-in Entrance Fee is CASH ONLY. Corner booths
are available as THREE SPACES ONLY at a cost of $100.00.
BOOTHS-AND-A-HALF ARE NOT AVAILABLE. IF YOU ARE PULLING A TRAILER OR DRIVING A VEHICLE
LONGER THAN 20' AND WISH TO KEEP YOUR VEHICLE IN YOUR SPACE, YOU MUST RENT A DOUBLE.
For Seasonal Reservations: A $100 NONREFUNDABLE DEPOSIT MUST BE SENT WITH THIS
APPLICATION. THE BALANCE IS DUE TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO SHOW DATE. NO REMINDERS WILL BE
SENT. WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO INCLUDE A POSTDATED CHECK OR WE CAN AUTOMATICALLY
CHARGE YOUR ACCOUNT FOR THE BALANCE FOR A 5% ADMINISTRATIVE FEE. If balances are not
received on time, Bethlehem Flea Market reserves the right to resell the space. There is a $25 fee for
checks returned by the bank.
If a contracted Seasonal Dealer is unable to occupy the reserved and paid for in advance space, the
Bethlehem Fair must be notified before 10:00 PM on the preceding Thursday of the event so that the
Market can re - lease the space, dealer will be credited 60% of the cost of the booth space for that day if
the Market is able to rent the space. No Refunds or Credits are to be applied if the space is not rented.
BOOTH RENT AND/OR BALANCE PAYMENTS MADE DURING THE FINAL TWO WEEKS WILL BE
INCREASED BY $35. “DRIVE-UPS’ WILL BE REQUIRED TO PAY IN CASH. NO CHECKS WILL BE
ACCEPTED AT DRIVE-IN.
SETUP: Saturday starting at 5:00 AM or Friday evening at 5:00 for FOOD VENDORS ONLY. The gates are
locked at dark. Vendors are not allowed to overnight or camp on the Property or the Parking Lots per the
Rules set by the Bethlehem Fair Society, Incorporated.
READ CAREFULLY:
1- THIS IS A QUALITY "Green" Flea Market. NO DECEPTIVE SALES Techniques or Misrepresentation of
merchandise and food products is allowed.

2- NO Early Departures! DEALERS ARE NOT TO BEGIN PACKING BEFORE 1:00 PM. This rule will be
enforced! Dealers not adhering to this rule will be assessed a $25.00 fee upon reentry or may be subject
to additional fees for contracted spaces. No Moving Vehicles on the Flea Market grounds before 1:30 PM
3- TABLES SHOULD BE COVERED; PACKING MATERIALS Should be CONCEALED. An attractive display
will sell more goods.
4- BOOTHS MUST BE LEFT SPOTLESS, PLEASE TAKE YOUR GARBAGE HOME. Cigarette butts must be
picked up. Dealers who do not clean their areas will be charged an additional fee or may not be allowed
to return.
5- ALL ITEMS SHOULD BE PRICE TAGGED.
6- DEALERS MUST GUARANTEE THE AUTHENTICITY, AGE & CONDITION OF THEIR MERCHANDISE
AND USE DESCRIPTIVE SALES RECEIPTS CONTAINING CONTACT INFO.
7- DEALERS MUST HAVE A VALID CT RESALE NUMBER OR HAVE APPLIED FOR ONE.
8 -SHARING IS NOT PERMITTED.
9. FOOD VENDORS Must have a VALID permit from the Torrington Area Health District.
10. ATTENTION FOOD VENDORS: NO GMO's (Genetically Modified Food Products. See Website at www.
Bethlehem Flea Market for Details.
11. Dealers are liable for the safety of their booths and tents.
12. Dealers are responsible for any damage made by vehicles on the fields and roadways and must
repair or pay for repairs to the grounds.

THE EXHIBITOR UNDERSTANDS AND AGREES AS FOLLOWS:
Bethlehem Flea Market, its agents or employees shall not be liable for property damage or personal
injury to Exhibitor, its agents/guests or employees, which may occur on or about any part of the subject
premises, regardless of how such injury or damage may have occurred. Exhibitor waives any claim
against Bethlehem Flea Market and assumes all liability for loss or damage to Exhibitor's property
entrusted to the premises.
Exhibitor shall hold Bethlehem Flea Market harmless and shall indemnify Bethlehem Flea Market against
any liability or expenses arising out of any claim of injury or damage to any person or property, together
with all costs in connection with the defense thereto, including attorney's fees.
Bethlehem Flea Market reserves the right to refuse exhibits or accept exhibits, as it deems appropriate. If
it becomes impossible to hold this event when and where it is now planned, Bethlehem Flea Market may
cancel this lease without liability, upon applying, or returning to Exhibitor, all sums paid as rental or credit
the Exhibitor. This contract shall not be assigned without prior written consent of Management.
The Bethlehem Flea Market is subject to the Approval of the Grounds Superintendent employed by the
governing Bethlehem Fair Society, Inc. every week.

NOTICE TO FOOD VENDORS: Food Vendors must adhere to all sanitary methods as specified by the
State of Connecticut Public Health Department. The Bethlehem Flea Market is a "GREEN" Market and we
discourage the sale of Genetically Modified Foods (GMO's). Vendors who comply with this regulation will
be given a "GREEN Non-MODIFIED FOODS" Sign for their booths. Vendors are encouraged to request
that their suppliers provide them with foods and food products that are not Genetically Modified. Lists of
Genetically modified foods can be found on the Internet and also on the www.BethlehemFlea Market.com
website. Food Vendors are encouraged to buy from local farms and growers when possible.
Food Vendors must supply their own fresh water hoses and electrical cords and must also provide a set
of THREE (3) trash cans for the refuse of patrons. Trash cans shall be separate for paper trash, cans and
plastics, and compost and must be marked with Recycling Signs. The Bethlehem Flea Market will supply
the recycling signs and they must be attached to the trash receptacles at all times. Stray food spilled on
the field must be removed by the vendor before leaving. Trash Cans MUST be Green in Color.
FOOD VENDOR: I agree to these terms and will seek to supply non-genetically modified foods at the
Bethlehem Flea Market.
